Lake Monsters |

The most famous of the 'Lake Monsters' is Loch Ness in Scotland with it's legendary
monster, affectionately nicknamed "Nessie."Cold
and deep Loch Ness shares some interesting physical characteristics with other lakes that
also have monsters. In North America Lake
Champlain, oin Canada Ogopogo and Manipogo, the monsters of Okanagan Lake and Manitoba Lake, have been
the source of monster rumors for centuries.

Sea Serpents & Sea Monsters |

"Sea Serpent" is usually
used to refer to a creature that appears to be a giant aquatic snake. In addition tales
include other sea monsters that look like giant reptiles, such as the plesiosaur. Others tell of the kraken, a huge many tentacled creature
that was probably based onsightings of the giant squid.

Mammals |
Reptillian Land Mokele-Mbembe,
alive deep in the Congo and some people even claim they've seen flying reptiles in Texas.

Some known animals, like the
Tasmanian
Tiger, have gone extinct in just the last few hundred years, often as the result of
human action. There is some hope that some of these species may still be
alive in thick forests or remote jungles, safe and out of sight from modern civilization.
